International Day for Biological Diversity in Tunisia

GEF/SGP Tunisia will celebrate the international Day for Biological Diversity on 22 May 2007 with an exhibition on local varieties and local products in partnership with CBBC ( Center of Biotechnology Borj Cedria ) and University of Tsukuba –Japan (ARENA) and in  collaboration with Borj-Cedria Technopark Tunisia and JICAJapan, as side event to the First Workshop on Biotechnology for OVOP(One village, one product).

Ten (10) of our Grantees prepared the exhibition witch will be inaugurated by his Excellency the Minister of High Education, Scientific Research and Technology at “Cité des Sciences” of Tunis.

The event will be covered largely by media and the exhibition will be opened for public during all the day.
